NEWS FLASH !!
Here is the very explanation of why the americans (as a mass) are so dumb and ignorant of the world around them.
IT'S BECAUSE OF THEIR MEDIA !!
CNN keep broadcasting this :

The commentary on the map on France 2 says :
« At the end of the report, CNN screens a map showing the main cities hit by the riots. Trouble is, that Toulouse is in the Alps, Strasbourg in the middle of Germany, Cannes in Montpellier and even Paris isn't at the proper place. »
(Sorry for not using lj-cuts, but everybody HAS to see this !)
... LOL ...
*pats americans* well now if they decide on some preventive bombing, I think we're safe, but the countries around should worry a bit ! HA HA HA

First of all, for all those who would read thig through the
france community and are american people watching Fox or channels alike, I would insist that the riots in France are NOT religious or ethnic fights. I would be delighted is you americans tried to stop trying to fit european issue on an american state of mind. We don't have the same way of thinking that you have, i.e. races and all aren't taken in consideration when describing populations, so stop bringing that on.
Note that I'm not saying that because of discussions on the
france community, but because of general discussions I had with american people.
Week of nightmare ? here you go. That's me, over here !
Because of the riots, obviously. Oh, not in that way. I live into the City of Paris, and it's pretty quiet here.
As you know, I'm a Regional Councillor, aka a member of the Regional Youth Council of Ile-de-France (which is not a church thing, as I've been asked by... another american person. Doh !) and so we had a lot of discussions about them. And loads of press reviews. And I'm also a mediator, from that fact, and we take it in turn to manage the whole team. Neat. Though the mediators come by département, so I'm not too concerned.
University has its whole lot of talk, too.
It's all very tiring, especially since the government is really lame at reacting. I'm just sick of all those debates. And people are so stupid, like, all those damn fat idiots in the rear end of France, just believing every single word of what the TV says (basically, that all those youth are muslims burning cars for the sake of it)...
Debates with people who won't listen but can't argue their point correctly - what's worse, honestly ?!
Other than that, my life hasn't been very interesting. Not much to say, because I didn't do much. I feel like I want to sleep for a long long time until this is all finished.
Maybe it'll be the start of a big european revolt movement, as suggested one of my best friends. Maybe. But I don't believe in it, the French youth doing all this mess have reasons behind it. Let's review them how I see them :
- Being ignored by the population, and when not, disliked,
- Prioritary Educational Zones being ignored,
- Very low life level, no money, no jobs, DISCRIMINATION
- Associations closing because they got their subventions sucked by government,
- Rich people getting taxes lowered... no wonder why the government needs the associations' subventions !
- No one would respect them anyway, esp. not the Interior Minister who allows himself to pop up at half past eleven in a tough area for no reason at all with 50 units of cops, shouting about "getting rid of the scum",
- Seeing as how the government just pass their laws without listening to anyone even when everyone is against them (Law Perben on justice, Law Fillon on Education that makes us jump 30 years backwards, and many others)... peaceful manifestations are now useless.
- Even when those youth play the game, attend school, and make their way to the end, they have no job in the end, so why should the others bother !
- Etc, etc.
*sighs*
And now, they're lowering the age of apprentissage at 14... instead of 16... Hadn't seen that for 40 years.
And then, the emergency-of-state law being used. Curfews. Ha. Hadn't seen that for 50 years.
We're going 50 years back in time right now.
And those stupid international media keep telling how France is at war... Stupid.
Going out to dinner for a change.
